I am so thankful for my family, every single day, even on the ones where someone yells at me about being tortured by having to take piano lessons, and the other agrees with me when I say that I look like Roger Matthau, but I am most thankful for Kevin, who is patient beyond belief. He's the kind of guy who will help one kid with math, while helping the other one take a bath, all while his wife is playing Super Mario 3D Land and not helping one bit.
For the entire time I've known Kevin, he's talked about computer-driven cars, or robot-driven cars, as the kids understand it. It is coming, but not soon enough for Kevin. In the meantime, when this photo arrived in my in-box recently, I thought of him. And while I'll be the robot driving the car on Thanksgiving, our car load will feel exactly like this:
Happy Thanksgiving to all! Some day I hope to be thankful for robot driven cars, too.
