Have you heard of the Sony Dash? Do you want one? We're giving one away at Silicon Valley Mamas, if you do. However, during an event where the Dash was unveiled to local bloggers, the food really stole the show. The talented Jennifer Puccio, executive chef of Marlowe, made unique and flavorful dishes look simple. She's also a girl unafraid of a little salt.
While we watched Jenn prepare the chicken, we ate gigantic shrimp dipped in the most amazing spicy tomato sauce. I wanted to drink the sauce directly. Add a little vodka and it would have been the best Bloody Mary ever.
Like the other dishes, the salad was full of flavor too.
But the show stopper was really the peach-burrata salad. It was amazing.
Disclosure: The lunch was provided by Sony at the lovely home of my friend Roxane. I was also given a $25 gift certificate to Marlowe for use in the future. Steak tartare, here I come!
