I've decided to buy a fleece pouch, one that I have been considering for months, but never acted upon due to stupidity. Clover was a small girl, making it little hassle to carry her around or put her in the Baby Bjorn. Rocket is not petite, to put it kindly. The Bjorn kills my back - it's the old school, no lumbar support kind - and I've wanted to get a sling to carry him on my hip because hey, my hip feels fine, it's my back that hurts. (Check back in a month to see if I am bitching about my hip pain. Hopefully he doesn't take out both.)
Yesterday I decided to make my move. I went to the site and checked out the sizing. I am between sizes, so I thought and thought about what to do. I found the perfect fabric - black with little rockets all over it - and they had it in the size I wanted, so I jumped, beginning to place my order for the larger size. Before I hit "add to cart," I decided to check the sizing one more time, decided the larger one is probably wisest, and went back to add it, but it was no longer available! I emailed the company and it was confirmed that there are no more available in the larger size, making it seem very likely that the larger one was nabbed while I poked around mulling over the sizing. I could kick myself!
I ended up getting the smaller size because I really want the rocket fabric. I'll know next week if it works or else I'll have to return it for boring stripes in the larger size. (The stripes aren't really boring, they just aren't rockets!)
